Although coating it with honey and chocolate/peanut butter covered up the sour taste and it was fine! You could try just part buttermilk to see how it turns out. Just check it ever 20 minutes or so. If you want it to be even more low maintenance you can turn it down to 200 and let it go for a few hours, stirring as needed.
